Welcome to the Student Support Services Department!
Here at Mt. Mansfield Union High School we are devoted to equipping students with appropriate skills necessary for transition to postsecondary education, vocation or adult services. We have a team of highly qualified special educators and educational support staff who provide a range of services to eligible students designed to meet their individual needs. These services may include academic, social, and behavioral supports provided in an atmosphere where:
- students feel a strong sense of belonging to their school and classroom,
- students are able to maintain their self esteem, and
- students understand who they are as learners.
Our faculty consists of both general education and intensive needs special educators, a speech language pathologist and a 504 coordinator. Additionally, we have a talented team of educational support staff who encourage students to become successful learners while gaining independence as they progress toward graduation and beyond.
